Huayou Holding Group 2026 Mid-Year Work Conference Concluded in Suzhou on July 29. The two-day mid-year conference not only unified thinking and reinforced confidence, but also clarified the direction and consolidated responsibilities. It was a conference that rallied collective strength, drove pragmatic action, and fostered unity and progress. It will undoubtedly inspire all Huayou members to run at full speed and sustain their endeavors toward the “535” strategic goals. The conference achieved its intended purposes and concluded with complete success. Mr. Chen Xuehua, Chairman of Huayou Holding Group, attended the conference and delivered a concluding speech titled “Strategic Guidance, Joint Breakthroughs, and United Efforts to Forge a New Paradigm of Huayou’s High-Quality Development.” The conference was presided over by Mr. Lou Jianfeng, President of Huayou Holding Group.

We must learn to apply dialectical thinking to analyze problems and grasp the right direction. We must see opportunities through challenges while maintaining strategic resolve, and also recognize the tests that lie beneath opportunities. This requires us to truly heighten our sense of urgency, accelerate efforts to address weaknesses, seize opportunities amid challenges, and ride the momentum while solving difficult problems.

We must strengthen overall coordination, business synergy, and mechanism integration, continuously remove bottlenecks and barriers, and unleash efficiency through collaboration.

We must frequently put ourselves in a position of having no way out when contemplating issues, envisioning difficulties and risks at their worst-case scenarios, preparing for the worst while striving for the best outcomes. Only by doing so can we see one step further and act one step faster than others.

The objectives and tasks for the second half of the year have been set. The key now lies in the mental attitude with which we implement them and the execution capability with which we fulfill our commitments. Chairman Chen Xuehua emphasized that efforts should be focused on three areas to enhance our capacity for high-quality development:

Huayou has relied on learning to reach where it is today, and it will surely rely on learning to navigate toward the future. We must always maintain a sense of crisis regarding “capability gaps” and a sense of urgency about “insufficient competence,” continuously acquiring new knowledge, embracing new things, understanding new economies, and cultivating new thinking. In particular, we must systematically grasp future development trends and continuously update our knowledge structures.

Creative implementation is a working methodology Huayou has consistently championed. We must identify entry points and breakthrough opportunities for advancing work based on actual conditions, and undertake detailed, concrete, and specific execution. We must not only get things done but also do them well; we must be the best or nothing, embedding creativity into concrete actions for high-quality development.

We must strive to be doers who dare to take action—fearless in confronting challenges and breaking through obstacles. With the heroic spirit of “the brave prevail in a narrow encounter,” we must face various risks and challenges head-on, advance despite difficulties, rise to challenges, and build our capabilities through confronting challenges, withstanding risks, and overcoming hardships.

The final-half push for breakthroughs has begun.

The curtain has officially risen on securing a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan.

The strategic window for Huayou’s transition from being big to being strong

and achieving leapfrog development has arrived.
